Reading books by Peter Walsh would make you go crazy too.
April 9, 2008 at 4:09 pm | In Home Organization, K's Posts, Photos | 3 CommentsOkay, so I’m an organizer at heart. That’s why I was interested in reading It’s All Too Much. I had no idea how inspiring and motivating it would be! Yesterday, while my mom and I were running on this energy, we decided on a whim to clean out the laundry room. And ta-da! This is what resulted…
Don’t ya just love how everything’s all clean and sparkly?
Now, unfortunately, we forgot to take “before” pictures. I know you’re dying to see what it used to looked like. ☺ Just picture it…um…well…worse. There used to be lots of clutter on the dryer and pretty much everywhere. We threw away about five bags of trash and saved a bag of stuff for a friend’s garage sale.
Call me crazy, but this is what I call fun! ☺
Bedroom Turned Playroom
December 10, 2007 at 5:07 pm | In Home Organization, K's Posts, Photos | 1 CommentTo continue with our tour of the rooms we rearranged, here are some before and after pictures of the playroom.
Before:
(It used to be S and C’s bedroom.)
After:
I believe the toys have been much more managable in this room, all in one place. We just do a quick tidy daily, and everything stays under control.
Bedroom Makeover: Part 2

December 3, 2007 at 5:23 pm | In Home Organization, K's Posts, Photos | 2 CommentsAs promised, here are a few pictures of the new and improved girls’ room!
Unfortunately, I don’t have a before picture of this room, but I’ll tell you about some of the changes we made. First of all, there was only one bunk bed in this room. As you can see, there are now two bunk beds in order to accommodate all five of us girls (six eventually!). We also put up some shelves and the bulletin board, sorted through many boxes of “stuff” we’d accumulated (and got rid of most of it), and took all the clothing out and put it in the clothing room.
It’s nice for us all to be together, although it does keep us up later at night. ☺ But, I can’t see us regretting these late-night talks in the future as they keep us close despite the age difference.
Our silence
November 21, 2007 at 11:46 pm | In Events, Home Organization, K's Posts | 1 CommentI just wanted to pop in here real quick and give an update on why we’ve been so quiet lately! We have wanted to blog this week, but several things have prevented us from doing so.
The biggest thing we’ve been up to is what we’d call an Extreme Home Makeover. ☺ Basically, we have rearranged all of the childrens’ bedrooms. We used to have three girls’ rooms and one boys’ room, and now we have one girls’ room, one boys’ room, one clothing room, and one toy room. Our rooms were in desperate need of a good cleaning out! It has been a lot of work, but I believe it will be very worth it when it’s all said and done. Right now we are still working on some of the more tedious projects such as going through clothes, books, and other miscellaneous items. We will be sure to post some before and after pictures of our new and improved rooms sometime next week! So, be on the lookout for those. ☺
For now, I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving weekend! Let us remember to praise God from Whom all blessings flow!
