Recently our family has been learning how to be more frugally minded.  We completed Crystal Paine’s Supermarket Savings 101 online course and were introduced to the world of bargain shopping!  It has become quite a hobby for us.  We started taking advantage of the super deals at CVS and Walgreens each week.  We’ve also been clipping coupons and matching them with sales.  Here is a picture of what we bought at CVS today for $0.43 out of pocket.  We also got paid back $18.00 in Extra Care Bucks (the CVS card rewards which you can use like money on your next purchase).

We have really enjoyed shopping frugally.  It allows us to give more to others in need and is great practice for our future lives.  Even if we can’t use an item that is available for free or pennies, we will get it anyway and give it away to someone we know can use it.  I would strongly encourage you to check out the Supermarket Savings class.  Even if you are already a seasoned bargain shopper, I promise that it will be an encouragement to you.
